ROBO-STOX LLC and ROBO-STOX Partners Ltd ("ROBO-STOX") proudly announce the creation of the ROBO-STOX® Industry Classification, a database of publicly traded companies in the robotics and automation industry. We created the ROBO-STOX® Industry Classification to fill a gap in the market today for investors and other interested parties looking to better acquaint themselves with the corporate landscape of the robotics and automation industry.

ROBO-STOX® Industry Classification is a three-tiered classification system that first identifies companies across the globe in the robotics or automation industry; divides the qualifying firms into “bellwether” or “non-bellwether” categories; and further divides them into 14 sub-sectors.

Revenues are the primary reference for determining the classifications. Earnings and market perception are also key indicators of a company’s business direction and taken into account during the classification process.

This is a fast-moving industry. The review process includes daily monitoring for corporate actions that may change a company’s classification, and a semi-annual review to update, as necessary, any refocusing of constituent companies’ business activities. Additionally, consultations are held with leading academic and industry experts to ensure the capture of accurate and relevant developments in the robotics and automation space.
